WINDOWS 95/NT DBCS - MISSING PARAGRAPHS/INACTIVE CHANGE BUTTON

** Last updated 2/24/97 **

The following problems can occur when installing from
customer-built diskettes or upgrading V3R1M2 Client Access for
Windows 95/NT from the AS/400 using one of the following NLVs:
   2962 Japanese
   2986 Korean
   2987 Traditional Chinese
   2989 Simplified Chinese

(1) Some of the install windows on Client Access for Windows
Windows 95/NT are missing paragraphs.

(2) If you select a Custom Install and then select either
5250 Display and Printer Emulation or the Printer Drivers
component, you should be able to select the change button.
However, this button is inactive.

(3) If you select a Selective Install and then select either
5250 Display and Printer Emulation or the Printer Drivers
component, you should be able to select the change button.
However, this button is inactive.

These problems occur because of a mismatch of Install Shield's
code and machine readable interface.

PTF SF37520 should be applied to all AS/400s using one of the
following versions of Client Access for Windows 95/NT as either
a primary or secondary language:
   2962 Japanese
   2986 Korean
   2987 Traditional Chinese
   2989 Simplified Chinese

If you created install diskettes for V3R1M2 prior to applying
the PTF, you will need to recreate the diskettes.

If you installed from customer-built diskettes or upgraded from
the AS/400 prior to applying this PTF, you will need to
reinstall V3R1M2. You can execute "setup.exe" to do the
reinstall using one of the following methods:

  (a) Use the IBM-supplied CD-ROM.

  (b) Use the IBM-supplied NLV diskettes.

  (c) Map a drive to the AS/400 at QCA400 Win32 Install Image
and execute setup.exe from that location after applying
      this PTF to your AS/400.
